At the foundation, we prefer to work on a project basis. This means that we love it if you can support us, and we will tell you in detail what we will use your donation for.

In 2025 we are working on the Endometriosis AI lab in collaboration with the Amsterdam UMC.

Did you know that a staggering 190 million women worldwide battle endometriosis? It’s not just “that time of the month” – this chronic condition can completely upend lives. We’re talking relentless pain, infertility struggles, and even risks like ovarian cancer and depression.

And here’s the kicker: most women endure years of uncertainty before they even get a diagnosis. In the US and Europe, it takes an average of 8-10 years to put a name to this invisible villain. Why? Because expertise in endometriosis is like a rare Pokémon – hard to find and even harder to maintain outside specialized centers. But hey, we think it’s time for a plot twist.

Our goal? Flip the script and make diagnosing endometriosis accessible to every woman using the power of artificial intelligence (AI).

We’re teaming up with the gynecology masterminds at Amsterdam University Medical Center (Amsterdam UMC). These folks are rockstars in women’s healthcare, leading groundbreaking work in diagnosing and treating complex conditions like endometriosis. They’re armed with cutting-edge tech, AI wizardry, and a passion for advancing women’s health.

Here’s the big plan: shrink the diagnostic delay with AI. Not every doctor can be an endometriosis expert, but AI can lend a hand (or, well, a brain). Think of it as a digital sidekick helping doctors connect the dots faster. Women shouldn’t have to wait a decade for answers, right?

Why does this matter so much? Because women’s health deserves to be front and center. Endometriosis has been stealing moments, dreams, and futures for too long. With AI on our side, we’re determined to give those moments back. Let’s rewrite this story – together.

Endometriosis AI lab

  • Advanced AI tools and global knowledge to improve women’s health
  • Helped improve endometriosis diagnosis globally
  • Helped raise awareness about endometriosis
  • Helped reduce women’s pain with innovative care and technologies

Now we need to give access to endometriosis treatments to all women who need it. Overall, our efforts therefore help make endometriosis diagnosis and care more accessible to more women worldwide.
